Xing'an League lies in northeast Inner Mongolia and is one of the leagues under the jurisdiction of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It borders Heilongjiang Province to the northeast, Jilin Province to the southeast, and the Inner Mongolia leagues of Chifeng, Xilingol, and Hulunbuir to the south, west and north respectively. It also borders Mongolia to the northwest.

Blessed with abundant natural resources and ecological advantages including vast grasslands, dense forests and large wetlands, Xing'an League boasts enchanting mountain and water scenery.
