Xibaipo Memorial Hall

Xibaipo Memorial Hall is one of the five revolutionary holy places in China, where the Party Central Committee and Chairman Mao directed the three major campaigns of Liaoshen, Huaihai, and Pingjin, and held the great historically significant Seventh Plenary Session of the Second Central Committee and the National Land Conference. Therefore, it has earned the reputation of "New China starts from here".

Within the village, there are multiple attractions for visitors to explore, including the Xibaipo Site of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Xibaipo Memorial Hall, and the Xibaipo Monument, among others. Each of these sites offers a unique glimpse into the significant role that Xibaipo played in Chinese history.

Foodies will delight in the local specialties, such as dried fruits including persimmons, black dates, high-quality thin-skinned walnuts, Chinese apricots, and sour jujubes. In addition, visitors can purchase mountainous small grains such as pepper, beans, peanuts, foxtail millet, and sorghum.

The Xibaipo Memorial Hall offers free admission, but visitors are required to make reservations and present valid identification to collect their tickets from the Visitor Center. The Memorial Hall is open daily from 09:00 to 16:30, and the last entry is at 16:00. Please note that the hall is closed on Mondays.

Spending at least three hours at the Xibaipo Memorial Hall is recommended to fully appreciate its historical significance and the exhibits on display.
