Shuozhou City, located in northern Shanxi Province, is an emerging northern eco-industrial city and China's new energy and heavy chemical industrial base focused on coal power. It is also the largest dairy production base in northern China's rural regions and an important daily-use ceramics production base. The total area of Shuozhou is 10,639 square km with a population of 1.27 million.
