Suizhou, hometown of the legendary Flame Emperor Yan Di, is located in northern Hubei Province. Situated at the strategic intersection of Jing and Yu states, it guards the "throat of Han and Xiang", making it an important northern gateway city in Hubei and a renowned national historical and cultural city.

As one of the earliest settlements of the Chinese nation, Suizhou is the ancestral home of Yan Di and Shennong. Here, the 5,000-year Hua Xia agricultural civilization began.
