The Porcelain House is a French-style villa decorated with tens of thousands of antique porcelain pieces, making it one of Tianjin's landmark buildings.
Designed by porcelain collector Zhang Lianzhi, the porcelain and ceramic pieces date from the Han Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty, representing almost all varieties of official and folk kilns in China.
Over 20 tons of crystals, agates, 4,000 antique porcelain articles, and 300 stone carvings were used in construction, earning it the nickname "Porcelain Museum of China."
