Just hearing the name Tongchuan gives a sense of history, located in Shaanxi Province, bordering the ancient city of Xi'an to the north and the Mausoleum of the Yellow Emperor and Yan'an to the south. The cultural relics and historic sites here are countless. The renowned Tang dynasty doctor Sun Simiao once lived in seclusion in Tongchuan.
